Jungwoo Kim, after working as a fund manager at Allianz Global Investors, founded Quad Investment Management in 2009 and grew it into one of Korea’s leading hedge fund management firms.

He focused on a long-term investment philosophy that prioritizes corporate fundamentals, management philosophy, and core values. Managing funds of over KRW 1 trillion in assets with this approach, he delivered outstanding returns and gained recognition in the investment industry.

Building on this philosophy, he now serves as a General Partner at Quad Ventures, focusing on innovative startups in emerging industries, in line with the growth of the venture capital sector.

Kanghon Cho entered the venture capital industry in 2011, beginning as an associate at Albatross Investment. He founded Quad Ventures as a subsidiary of Quad Investment Management in 2019, and currently leads its flagship funds as a General Partner.

이창선 팀장은 한양대 에너지공학과에서 박사학위를 취득하고, 현대자동차그룹, 삼성SDI와 전고체 전지 공동 연구를 수행하였습니다.

케이앤투자파트너스에서 소재·부품·장비 담당 심사역으로서 기본기를 다졌으며, 2022년 쿼드벤처스에 합류하여 전고체 배터리 핵심소재 황화리튬 정석케미칼, 전기차와 하이브리드 차량의 성능을 좌우하는 희토류 영구자석 핵심소재 성림첨단소재 등을 투자하며 차세대 핵심소재 유망 기업 발굴에 주력하고 있습니다.

Changseon Lee obtained his Ph.D. in Energy Engineering from Hanyang University and conducted joint research on solid-state batteries with Hyundai Motor Group and Samsung SDI.

He began his venture investment career at K& Investment Partners, building expertise in the materials, components, and equipment sector. In 2022, he joined Quad Ventures, where he focuses on identifying and supporting promising companies in the next-generation advanced materials space.

His recent investments include a company developing core materials for solid-state batteries, and another with proprietary technology for rare earth permanent magnets, which are essential for the performance of electric and hybrid vehicles.
